Why it works
The normal version asks for the biggest amounts in November and December, when money is tightest for many people. Starting high, while motivation is fresh, makes the last weeks easy.
The rules
- Week 1 is $52, week 2 is $51, and so on.
- Tick each week off in the tracker.
- Swap weeks if needed; every amount is done once.

- Weeks 14 to 26Save $39 down to $27. $1,027 saved at the halfway point.
- Weeks 27 to 39Save $26 down to $14. $1,287 saved.
- Weeks 40 to 52Save $13 down to $1. $1,378 in total.
